Thank you for volunteering in our school!

In order to volunteer within the school, you will need to have the appropriate security clearances. The East Penn School District defines a volunteer as "An adult serving in an unpaid position in which they are individually responsible for the welfare of a child or have “direct contact with children” (care, supervision, guidance or control of children), or routine interaction with children."  Clearances are not required to help out during PTO evening events such as Bingo Night or Shamrock Shake. However, they are required to be a classroom Mystery Reader or to chaperone field trips. Click on the links to the left to obtain the forms needed for your clearances.

Clearances are valid for 5 years.

The following documents are required to volunteer in any East Penn school:

1.) Volunteer general information sheet
2.) Volunteer affidavit
3.) Pennsylvania Criminal Record Check
4.) Child Abuse History Clearance
If you have not been a resident in PA for 10 years or more, you will also need the FBI Criminal History Record check. (There is a $27 fee for this clearance.)
